Good Monday Morning Coffee everyone ☺️! How is everyone doing on this wonderful Monday. I’m hoping the answer is that you are doing well but if not I hope this conversation will change your less than happy response into a positive one. As for me, I am doing wonderful and finally, finally it is starting to feel like fall🍁. Also, things are well on my end and I am looking forward to our upcoming Cali glory gathering that is coming up at the end of this new month. Now let me welcome you to a new day, a new week, and a new encouraging conversation with me, Kenya! And, if you are ready, then grab your yummy morning drink ☕️, and let’s start the conversation.

So, for todays conversation I want to encourage and remind you that the Lord is rooting you on. I know from experience and from what others have shared with me that we all can feel defeated in our journeys. Sometimes we may feel alone, maybe we are feeling that we are not pasting our test, or we may have made some wrong turns along the way. I want to remind you that God loves you and He is with you through it all.

Perhaps some of you may be feeling like you missed the mark. What do I mean by that? Well, perhaps you receive some instructions from the Lord and so you obeyed those instructions but now life has became a bit hard. Perhaps you were thinking life was going to look a lot different than what you are experience currently and you may be thinking that you probably heard wrong. First let me remind you that if you were wrong, its okay and that God is not upset with you. What matters is your heart above everything else. I remember when the Lord spoke through a visiting minister. The minister was speaking on the Laodicea church from the book of Revelation and when he came to the part about being lukewarm, that word hit me in my heart so hard. I was so confused to why that word would hit me so hard in my heart. After church while driving to work I kept saying to the Lord, “how could I be lukewarm” and as I looked up at the sky I seen a cloud with a hole shaped as a heart. Then the Lord spoke to my heart and said “I will never give up on you”. I share all that to convey to you that God will never give up on you either. Even when we think we are getting it right but in God’s eyes getting it wrong, He’s still rooting us on to win the race. Of course today I can see that I was religious and that He lead out of that lukewarm state.

As a parent, when my child would get it wrong, I did not leave her but I taught and redirected her. And so even more with Lord. He wants us to learn the lesson and go from glory to glory. The other night, a brother in the faith was sharing that someone instructed him to follow whatever the Lord was going to tell him. And so, from that point on he was waiting for the instruction from the Lord. Everyday he was anticipating this instruction while continuing in the manner of serving and ministering. Then after a year, another person came to him and said that the Lord now was going to reward him because he was obedient to the instruction that the Lord gave him. Now, let me just share that although he was ministering and serving, he was waiting on some specific instruction from the Lord only to hear and be surprised that he was in fact already following the Lord’s instruction. So when he heard that the Lord was now rewarding him for his obedience, he was a bit confused and of course, still grateful. Then he shared what he learned from that experience which was that he has the Spirit of God in him and so he was indeed following God’s instruction. When he shared his story with me, I thought to myself that makes so much sense. Then I eventually shared that awesome story with a sister who was sharing that she hopes that she is pasting all her test, I concluded from that story what the brother shared that she indeed was pasting her test as well. The reason why I came to that conclusion is because her heart is to please the Lord, to past those test, and she has the Spirit of God in her.

Maybe you may be thinking, well Kenya I do have the Holy Spirit but I continue to fail my test or make mistakes, well if you are looking for an answer, it’s intimacy. As the bride of Christ we all have to spend ample time with the Lord. I mean as much as you can. A lot of time we miss it because we are to natural minded and immature. Yes reading about Jesus in the bible is good but you need to spend time in prayer and meditation. Spend some quiet time with Lord and continue to do this until you experience His tangible presence and then continue to want more. All though I continue to feel God’s amazing yummy presence everyday, multiply times a day, I still want more and more and more. As a matter of fact I was wondering if I would be able to finish this blog because I was so drunk from the Spirit that every time I would start to proof read, I would feel so overwhelmed and start laughing and falling off my chair 🤣. So, we can never exhaust Him and he wants us to want more. So to conclude, remember the Lord rooting you on.
Side Note: Cultivate intimacy with the Lord!
