Good Monday Morning Coffee everyone ☺️! How are you all doing on this awesome Monday? I hope well and as for me I am doing amazing. Actually I am working on this blog in advanced because I will be in Cali for the glory gathering Lord willing. So when I get back I can share some of the experiences that will happen during that time. So, now let me welcome you to a new day, a new week, and another encouraging conversation with me, Kenya! Now if you are ready, then grab your morning drink ☕️, and let’s start the conversation.

So for today’s conversation I want to discuss on the topic “The Passion”. First, this is not about the movie, “the passion” but rather on what you are passionate about. What is that thing that you get some much joy out of. What is that thing that makes you light up.

This conversation comes from talking to a wonderful unique sister who shared with me that she loves words, especially the ones that the Lord gives her. She even shared that she loves words so much so that she would look up different words and the definitions everyday so she could share them in her daily conversations. One thing that stood out during the conversation was in the moments when the Lord would give her a word, she would look up meaning of that word as well as the meaning of each letter in Hebrew. She would get so much joy from her search. I think the Lord places certain passions in us that helps us connect with Him and they show different aspects of Himself. I believe passions also make life more delightful as well as a means of delighting ourselves in the Lord.

Sometimes we may find ourselves saying no to what we enjoy doing because either you or someone else sees those things as a waste of time, maybe weird, or that “the Lord does not want you to do that”. I know many people are coming out of the religious gloomy mindset and are slowly shedding off the lies “of the you got to do this, you got to do that, and you can’t do this and you can’t do that.” The religious mindset had many of us so afraid that we believed that if we celebrated Christmas or Halloween you were to go to hell or get a demon. Basically we were afraid. Let me remind you that Jesus did all the work and if you believe in Jesus (faith) you will be saved. So anyways, so now you are realizing that most of those things that you found joy in was not actually bad at all.

So, today I ask you to not run away from what the Lord put in you. The Lord is in that thing that you are passionate about. He gave you those exciting things that perhaps He finds precious so you can share and know what he is passionate about. So when you do those things He’s doing those things with you as well. The same sister that I shared about earlier also loves running and one day while she was running she seen Jesus running with her. This is example of Jesus being involved in our passions. Here are some other examples of passions: singing, searching words, photography, technology, storm chasing, marine biology, education, learning about the human body, dancing, music, and drawing. So many new invention and discoveries came into the world because someone was passionated about something. Some examples are: cars, aircrafts, electricity, and DNA. I think that your passions are given to you to lead you to what the Lord wants you to do. It’s like the He’s helping us walk out our scrolls. He leading you with a burning desire to take you to specific place, a destination.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Ephesians 4:16

So to conclude, the greatest example of someone following He’s passion is Jesus, basically God Himself who loved us so much and now we are benefiting from that passion. We are all enjoying the blissful passion of what God has given to each and everyone of us. It’s a wonderful love story that we’re entangled in. So perhaps it is super important to give time for these passions because not only are you going to enjoy and benefit from them but someone else will too. Minister’s like Dustin (SM7), Justin Paul Abraham, Liz Wright, John Cowder, and so many others are a blessing to the body of Christ because they are following the passion the the Lord has placed in them. As each one operates in what the Lord has placed in us, the church will be built up. Maybe you are not operating in the 5 fold ministry but you still have something that can built up the church. Please don’t limit yourself or the Lord.
Side Note: Don’t forget to DRINK!!!!!🍷
Monday Morning Coffee Question: What are the passions that the Lord placed in you?
So, remember to take it one day at a time, stay encouraged in the Lord, and remember that the Lord loves sooooo much, so remember to love Him back!
