What Table are You Eating From?

Good Monday Morning Coffee conversation everyone☺️! Hope all is well! As for me, I’m back from the Cali Glory Gathering. It was very fruitful and was super fun fellowshipping, manifesting the Holy Spirit, and laughing in the Gory with my brothers and sisters in the faith. So, it was an amazing time to say the least.

Here are some fun pics from glory gathering:

So, now if you are ready, then grab your morning drink ☕️, and let’s start the conversation.

So, for today’s conversation I would like to discuss the importance of making sure that you are eating from the right table. In other words, you can’t glean from everyone. Not everyone who confesses to be a believer or in the freedom of Christ has the right heart.

I have noticed that some people who have come to the freedom of Christ with the wrong motives and mindsets. They use the freedom of Christ to hurt their brothers and sisters and when someone says that they don’t like the mistreatment, those persons will start to gaslight you, by trying to make you think that it’s not them with the problem but you. All that is to me is a form of wickedness and that person is not truly loving their brother of sister. Yes, its fun to joke around but it’s all about the heart of the individual. Yes, we may go too far but when we notice this or if its pointed out then we should not over look the others person feelings like its nothing.

Now, some of this wrong thinking can be due to wrong teaching. This is why you have to be careful who you are listening to because what you behold, you will become. Who you follow, you will mimic. You can look at this like a buffet table. There are so many people trying to share their conversation/fruit with you but if you are not careful you will consume some really nasty fruit. You see, a lot of people have promoted themselves and what they profess is not from the Lord but from their own imagination and from satan. The best way discern who has the good fruit is by the Hoy Spirit and from reading the bible.

Some people have said the bible does not need to be read but the “devil is a lie”. Even Jesus referred back to the scriptures before He was put on the cross. If Jesus is our example, then why would we say such things. The letters of the apostles is just as important today as the were when the early church received them. When I read the bible I can feel the anointing. The bible will give you that foundation/plumb line in order to make sure that you have something to stand on, instead of falling for everybody’s conversation/church lingo when they are way off. Although I’m super grateful to be in the freedom of Christ, I realized that my past religious days when I devoured the scriptures and developed was a much needed foundation as well as boundaries. I have a better understanding that a lot of things are not edifying for my spiritual growth. Now, of course, every single encounter with God that every single person has ever had is not recorded in the bible but that’s because everyone has their own personal relationship with the Father but the bible is helpful to help us to know that there is so much more than this natural realm.

Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power.

Before I wrap this conversation up, I want to suggest that we all be careful of what we look at and listen to. Remember everything is permissible but not everything is needful. Freedom in Christ means that you now have freedom to leave the old man’s ways for the new man’s life in Christ. I don’t know about you but certain things I have looked at or listen to can really make me feel like taking on the identity of a certain song or movie. Let me advise you that if you want to let go of the old man then you have to let go of that old man’s likes. Those things that the old man indulged in. Last week I heard someone listening to some really disgusting music but it not only grieved me but it amazed me that they who has the Spirit of God would even want to hear that. I did address them because first off “NO” and second if that is not your lifestyle why are you blasting it like it is. Basically those persons are living a double life and confused with what freedom in Christ really is. Now I’m I not saying the all secular music or movies are evil but there are those things that are real obvious that we should clearly stay away from.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 14:26

So to conclude, we need a foundation to start out with in order to discern who is who. The Holy Spirit will bring things that written in the bible to your remembrance. The scriptures are God inspired. So read the bible!!!! Next, let go of the old man and embrace the new life of Christ. Embrace the things of the Lord. Everyday strive to enter into the rest of God, enter the secret place. Renew your mind with the things of God.

SIDE NOTE: You are too precious to allow the agenda of the world to ruin you and keep you from the all that the Father has for you so choose wisely. P.S. If you are looking for a table to eat from, here is a link: 🍷
