Are you feeling like you do not have enough time or like you’re not making the best use of it. Then it’s time to get organized in this area. As someone who loves their time, when it’s starts to feel like my time is being wasted, it really bothers because I have things that I want to accomplish each day.

Last year I moved from Georgia to Texas and with this move, my life had drastically changed. I went from having all the time in the world to do whatever to having to watch the clock. When I was in Georgia I didn’t have to work and plus I have a certain stream of income coming in each month. But when I moved here, to Texas, I had to get a job and as 40 something year old (meaning my sleep time), I need to make sure that I am using my time wisely. I have so many goals as well, which means I have to appropriate my time accordingly. Yes, like others I would like to hang out, scroll on IG and other social media platforms, or talk on the phone but I have my priorities and you should to if you want to see progress.

Some things that I had to put into effect is my scroll time, my conversation time, and making sure that no one but the Lord interrupts my plans. Things like spending time with the Lord, going to the grocery store, reading, working on your goals, quality time with your family or friends are things that you can purposed yourself to do. These things can be scheduled. This means when you wake up in the morning, you already know what to expect and you are focus on making what you have planned happen.

I also, know we have some people in our lives that think because their schedule is totally free that you must be free as well but you have to say no to them or if need be, just ignore them. Remember, you don’t exist to entertain or give someone something to do with their time while ignoring your personal commitments. The only one who will suffer from not sticking to your personal commitments is you. Also, if you would like to give that person your time then schedule it and that way you will feel like your time has been used in the manner that you purposed it. So, remember to protect your time!

So, until next Wednesday have a great week!
