Good Monday Morning Coffee everyone☺️! Hoping everyone is enjoying themselves. As for myself I’m doing well. Now, if you’re ready, then grab something to drink☕️, and let’s get into the conversation.

So, for today’s conversation I wanted to encourage you to be like Peter who did something he never did before. I mean, it wasn’t his norm to walk on water but he decide to do it anyways, despite how he could have been perceived maybe by the other disciples and the thoughts of the possibilities of what could go wrong if he stepped out. Of course, we know the rest of the story of how he started to sink but at least he can say that he did it.

So, what is that thing that looks like walking on water to you. What seems so different from your norm that if you started on the journey to get there, it would feel like walking on water to you. Making your “walking on water” looks like you coming out of a box that you and everyone else has placed you in. Many times we are only known for a specific personality or profession but you no longer want that for yourself. Maybe you feel led to do a total overhaul in your life and no longer desire to behave in a way that you always have.

I like listening to podcast in the mornings. One of the people I enjoy listening to is Dr. Michelle Daf. Her podcast is about helping women embrace being feminine in the Lord. She helps women who desire to stop being masculine and gives really good insight on how to achieve that. One thing she has mention about those who are surround by the opposite of what they want to become is that there will friends and family that may not embrace those changes because they are so use to the old you, they may even become offended because they may feel like you are trying to be better than them or make them look bad. No matter what though, if you want that change then you have to do something you never done in order to become that person that you never have been. You have to go forward!

As I continue in my relationship with the Lord, I feel the changes needed to take place and I no longer identify with some old behaviors. There have been times when someone would try to keep old labels on me by saying something like you’re a such and such type of person. When they say that to many times I feel like I’m going to have to put some distance between me and that person because thats no longer me anymore, nor do I want to entertain that conversation about the old me either. Sometimes you will have to update you inner circle, lol!
I believe the Lord is leading many of us in specific direction that can feel like a huge mountain that need to be climb put remember all you have to do is step it one step at a time. I encourage to go forward and do the work because the Lord wants to further His reach through you. So, walk on that “water”!
Side Note: Go forward!
Monday question: Any thoughts on today’s conversation?
Remember to take it one day at a time, stay encouraged in the Lord, and remember the Lord loves you sooooo much, so remember to love Him back!
