Hey there, awesome folks! Hope you’re all doing great. As for me, I’m hanging in there, given my situation, which I’ll spill the beans on shortly. So, go grab a tasty drink, and let’s dive into this!

So, here I am, currently unemployed and feeling like a sad puppy who just lost a game of fetch. As a seasonal worker for Amazon, I totally saw this coming—like a train wreck in slow motion—and thought I was ready for the ride. I mean, I did all the smart stuff! I stashed some cash, went on a job hunt, and even paid my six-month car insurance premium upfront like I was trying to score adult points. But guess what? Despite all this preparation, I’m still jobless and on the fast track to being as broke as a college student. I even managed to apply for unemployment and food stamps, which I got approved for, but I’m still waiting for those benefits to arrive like they’re a long-lost relative. I share all this to say that even though I’m in a bit of a pickle, I’m doing my best to stay chipper, productive, and believe that things will turn around—preferably before my bank account goes on a diet!

So here are some things I am doing to keep my spirits high and prevent myself from sinking into depression. I’m actively seeking out what I’m missing that might be sabotaging my job search. I’ve zeroed in on the tech landscape, particularly AI. There’s this platform called edX by Verizon where you can dive into cutting-edge technology transforming our world. Sure, you can earn certifications if you’re willing to pay, but I’m making the most of the free version. I’ve harnessed AI to polish my resume and whip up content. On top of that, I’m blogging, revamping my YouTube channel, and even created two Facebook groups. I’m all over IG and Pinterest, firing off creative content because let’s be real—creating keeps you feeling like you’re doing something with purpose. I’ve also carved out time for walks (a form of exercise, if you will) and am keeping a keen eye on my eating habits because these practices are crucial for staying uplifted.

Now, all these things are incredibly helpful, but the true driving force in my life is my precious moments spent with the Lord. During this sacred time, He fills me up with exhilarating joy and profound peace. I can literally feel His peace enveloping me and His joy igniting my spirit! Although I find myself confused about the delay in the physical changes I desperately need, one thing gives me comfort: the Father is ever aware, and I am never alone in this journey. I wholeheartedly believe that trials are a universal experience, and this is far from my first challenge. In the midst of these tough times, I continually remind myself of all the previous struggles the Lord has seen me through, reinforcing my unwavering faith in His faithfulness.
