Hi there! Welcome to today’s conversation but before we start I just want to share that I finished my program that I started in April and I have obtained one certification thus far. I am working on obtaining at least 4 more but praise God that I made it through to the other side with more resources to help me get that perfect job. Now, grab something yummy to drink and let’s get into the conversation!
Your Future Self is Calling! 📞
Do you ever get that unshakable feeling? That deep-seated desire for change, for something more than what you have right now? It’s a powerful sensation, a persistent whisper that hints at a different path, a larger purpose. Many of us feel it, but few truly engage with it.
Consider this feeling your future calling. It’s not just a fleeting thought; it’s an invitation to a conversation, a dialogue with the person you’re meant to become. But how do you start that conversation?
Quieting the Noise and Gaining Clarity
The first step is to quiet the external noise and the endless chatter of daily life. In our distraction-filled world, it’s easy for these important internal signals to get lost. Find a space where you can be undisturbed, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
Once you’ve found that quiet, turn your attention inward. What exactly are you feeling? What sensations are bubbling up to the surface? Don’t judge them, just observe.
This is where a powerful tool comes in: journaling.
The Power of Journaling for Future Conversations
Journaling is an incredible way to bring clarity to your thoughts and feelings. It allows you to externalize what’s going on in your mind, to see it laid out in front of you. As you write, you’ll start to identify patterns, articulate desires you didn’t even realize you had, and pinpoint the areas where you crave change.
The real magic of journaling, however, is its ability to keep the conversation going. Those moments of desire for more don’t always hit us with the same intensity. By journaling, you create a tangible record of your thoughts and aspirations. You can revisit those entries, refresh your memory, and pick up where you left off. It’s like having a dedicated transcript of your ongoing dialogue with your future self.
Don’t Let the Conversation End
Many of us experience that yearning for more, but few actually start the conversation. And even fewer continue it beyond a single moment of introspection, especially when surrounded by distractions. Don’t let that be you.
Your desire for change, for “something more,” is too important to be a one-off thought or a fleeting feeling. Take the time to seriously engage with these feelings. Carve out dedicated moments to listen, to write, and to reflect.
This isn’t just about dreaming; it’s about actively preparing for and shaping your future. So, what’s your future calling trying to tell you? It’s time to start the conversation, and more importantly, to keep it going. So until next time have a beautiful, blessed day and bye for now!
