Good Monday Morning Coffee lovely people😊! I hope everyone is doing well. Welcome again to another week, a new day, and another encouraging conversation. So, let’s grab that morning brew ☕and get into it!
Keep seeking God!
For today’s conversation I want to encourage those who are seeking the Lord. If you are like me, then perhaps you have felt like giving up. Maybe you are hearing about the varies wonderful experiences that your fellow brothers and sisters are experiencing and because those are not your experiences you may feel left out. Maybe you feel like you are doing all this seeking but still not finding, well if this is you then I would like to encourage you to keep seeking God.
God will reward you!
In Hebrews 11:6 Paul says, but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. My main focus of this scripture is that “He is rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”. God is not a man that He would lie, and He keeps His word. You will find Him, and you will know Him. Even though it may feel frustrating now but, in the future, you will be so grateful that you stayed adamant in your pursuit of Him.
Diligence, faithfulness, and steadfastness!
There were many times that I have felt like giving up but I knew this was not about my feelings but about seeking intimacy with Jesus. One thing I have experienced in my pursuit is that God will send helpers along the way. They will aid you in your search, which will help you stay on this path. As I think back, I am amazed at God’s Sovereignty over each one of our lives. Two of the most important attributes of a diligent person is their faithfulness and steadfastness to their task, so in a sense diligence is molding you into a faithful follower of Jesus. As a believer, we should be aware of the reality of the spirit of this world and the darkness that continues to cover the land more and more. There are many distractions that promote fear and confusion. This is why being diligent is super important. So, I encourage you to allow diligence to work in your favor because it is producing a faithfulness and steadfastness.
Appreciation!
Lastly, I believe that your seeking will lead to a great appreciation. In this culture and generation there is such an impatience in people. And when they receive what they desired they quickly turn aside to the next thing. One of the best things God can do is to allow you to seek Him because He knows the hearts of men. He also knows who He is, He is everything we could ever want but there are those terrible moments when we are ignorant to His value. And so, we have to take this very needed journey in order for us to appreciate the prize, our exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
In Conclusion.
So inconclusion, although your journey may feel frustrating or a waste of time, I would ask you move past those feelings. Our flesh hates waiting so you have to move past those feelings. Remember the only thing that moves or pleases God is faith. Allow faith to work for you and eventually you will find the Lord. So, remember take it one day at a time and stay encouraged in the Lord!
