Introduction for Titus 2 Perspective

Good day everyone! If you still do not know my name, well it is Kenya and I am a mom of one daughter. She will be 18 this year and I will be 40 as well. I think this is an awesome collaboration among our ages because they represent two major milestones in both our lives. Also I have never been married so there are lot of challenges I had to overcome as a single parent. Although I am blessed with two awesome parents who have been there from the beginning I still have learned many lessons along the way. I have seen God help me through many trials with my daughter. So with that being said I believe my decision of sharing the lessons, encouragements, and instructions that I have received during these almost 18 years as a mother is a wise one.

For some time now I have seen and heard some of the terrible mistakes that we as parents have made. I too have made so many mistakes but by Gods grace, mercy, forgiveness, and instruction I have seen the wonderful changes in both me and my daughter. My daughter stands out in most ways because I took the necessary steps to continue to raise her up with biblical standards.

Some of the topics that I believe will be helpful to use for the years to come are the following:

Who is responsible for teaching your child about God.

Standards to live by.

Discipling your child.

The importance of leading by example.

Telling your children the truth.

Every Tuesday I hope to share some inspiring words that each mother can use in their daily life. I will share from a practical and biblical perspective. So this is my invitation to the Titus 2 Perspective for every Tuesday. Please share with anyone you believe would find this to be a blessing. Also please subscribe in order to recieve the latest encouraging post as well as liking the post. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.
