Hello and Good Monday Morning Coffee everyone😊! It’s been a while since I last posted. I decided to take a month off. I hope all is well with everyone. The Lord has been doing amazing things in my life and I just had to take some time to enjoy and meditate on the amazing blessings that he has given to me. So let me first welcome you to a new month, a new week, and a new day! Now, grab something yummy to drink ☕️and let’s get this conversation started!

So, for today’s conversation I want to discuss why we should keep the mindset that the Earth is the Lord’s. If you are like me, you grew up going to church, and listening to encouraging sermons. Those sermons where to help uplift those who were under attack by the enemy. Of course there we other sermons but the main ones were how to overcome the attacks of our enemy. And so Satan or some demonic attack was always in the back of my mind. Now don’t get me wrong we do have an enemy, there are demons, and I have had my share of attacks but as I continue in the Lord my focus is on Jesus more then ever. This focus has cause me to be aware of how protected His people are. This focus has caused me to see that Jesus is above everything and since we are in Christ, all things are ours. When test or trials come we can still Praise God because He never leaves but truly He is in us and around us because He fills the Earth.

When we truly start to embrace scripture such as the following that I am about to share then you will no longer be offended or fearful by the world: Matthew 11:28 says, Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest; Hebrews 4:9-10 says, So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from His; and John 15:11 says, These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. There are so many scriptures that reveal just how bless we are despite the world’s narrative. These scriptures tell us that no matter the circumstance we can still have joyful laughter, enter into deep peace, and rest in the arms of Jesus.
This year so far has been amazing! Not because of the external things only but because of my internal relationship that everyday I have been enjoying and cherishing. This experience is simply exhilarating, so much so that it’s hard to break away to do other task. Even right as a type this, my heart is so grateful and filled by Jesus. I am so in love. When we really start to cultivate our relationship and enjoy Jesus, it becomes hard for the things of this world to compete for your your attention.

So to conclude, there is truly a rest for God’s people to enter into. This rest is available to all who accepts Jesus’ sacrifice as the finish work that God was willing to do through His son. I know it sounds too good to be true but it is true. I use to be doing the most. So many religious movements I fell into but God new my heart, which was that I really wanted Him which is all He wants us to want and seek after.
Side Note: Don’t be afraid to walk away from those things (like going to church as usual) that maybe keeping you from totally embracing the full gospel. Jesus is now doing something new with His church. He is calling all who will come. He is bring back the book of Acts church and tearing down barriers that traditions of men have created out of prided and arrogance. Some years ago when I read Luke 14:16-24, I believe the Lord revealed to me what He is doing now. Business as usual is changing God is calling us to Him.
So until next time, remember to take it one day at a time and stay encourage in the Lord!
