Good Monday Morning Coffee everyone ☺️! I hope all is well with everybody! Welcome to a new day, a new week, and an another encouraging conversation with me, Kenya. So if you’re ready, then grab your yummy drink ☕️, and let’s get into the discussion.
So, I am finally back❤️🔥! Last month I had some fun moments as well as feeling exhausted. I spent some time in Texas and the Lord also told me that my time was up at my job. So after giving myself some time to just chill, I am ready to start back with sharing some encouraging content every Monday morning (hopefully).

So, for today’s conversation I would like to discuss identifying with the new creation life that we have in Jesus. I am so grateful to God how we can never exhaust Him. If someone would have told me that I would be so fulfilled in Christ like I’m today, maybe I would have given them the side eye. Now, I’m not saying I would have not totally believed them but what I am experiencing today in the Lord shows me just how limited (I still barely have a clue) I was with what the finish work on the cross did for mankind. Yo, we are above and beyond blessed!
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

Hey, did you know there is so much more? Also did you know that our enemy satan does not want you to realize just how powerful your new life in Christ really is and what that really means? So many of us stay so earthly minded. Only focusing on the world’s narrative and staying distracted by issues that cause them to be overwhelmed in their minds. This is the cycle (hamster wheel or matrix) that will keep you bound. Even if you are focusing on getting rich, maybe you are rich and you have no worries, there is still a level of distraction in that kind of lifestyle. This is because you are still not aware of who you are in Christ. Just like many others and even at times myself, we are easily provoked, moved, and concern with minor things. These things keep us immature spiritually and not able to move on to greater spiritual matters. For singles it could be the “single season”. Basically we make this season into a huge thing and our main focus, instead of just realizing how amazing life already is. For me personally, it can become a form of idolatry. For married people it could be that you want the perfect marriage which there is no such thing. Just enjoy each other. Maybe example could be catching every marriage seminar. For those at the job, it could be the offense of others. I really can’t stand when people think that everyone is the devil and everyone is out to get them, or no one appreciates you😒! Whatever it can be, it’s all keeping you in your mind, focusing only on your issues and not on what God is doing right now.
“But friends, that’s exactly who we are: children of God. And that’s only the beginning. Who knows how we’ll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we’ll see him – and in seeing him, become like him. All of us who look forward to His coming stay ready, with the glistening purity of Jesus’ life as a model for our own”.
1 John 3:2 (MSG)

So, what does this above passage means? Well in a nutshell there is so much more to us, so much so that there is so much more than what has already been revealed. Currently I am reading a book called “Beyond Human” by Justin Paul Abraham and he shares what has been revealed to him by those in heaven and the accounts of others who have experienced what it is to be a new creature in Christ (the Kainos lifestyle). When you read the scriptures are you really believing that we are no longer natural beings or are stuck here (earth bound thinking). It’s time to identify with your new creation life and know that with this new life we have amazing help, a different perspective, ideas, a new level of confidence, contentment, and emotional support.

Some of us have stayed stuck because you have a worldly mindset, you are allowing your feelings and flesh to dictate your next move. Maybe you have received the Holy Spirit but you are not cultivating a relationship with Him. Many are going to “church” every Sunday or whatever specific day but still are struggling over the same sin or emotionally you are suffering and asking for pray about the same issues, but today I want to share with you that you need to form intimacy with the Lord. Spend time with Him. Make Him your first priority. Love Him and worship Him. This is real serious! If you are in a “church” that is no longer helping you grow spiritually then you probably need to go.

Years ago when I left a church that I served for several years, the first Sunday that I stayed home I felt peace. Yo, I actually felt peace. I desired more in the Lord. I wanted the book of Acts church. I knew that there was more. Even though I did not go to that church anymore I spent time with the Lord. Years Later the Lord lead me to a powerful man of God (streetminitryseven) and amazing ministry (RPA the red pill army). Today I am full of the Holy Spirit and experiencing His fruit as well as baring fruit! Wow, I am so grateful! What it really is, it is freedom and being like a little child. And if you want more as well then spend time with Him or start now. Keep it real with Him. The Lord wants you, so don’t delay.
“If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.”
C S Lewis

So to conclude, if you are born again then you have so much more to look forward to. You are not alone and have all that you need in the Lord. Instead of identifying with the “victim mindset” narrative, choose to identify as being more than a overcomer. Instead as identifying as a “lonely depressed person”, identify with the truth that the Lord said he would never leave you nor forsake you. Instead of identifying with your “limitations”, start identifying with the truth that with Christ all things are possible. Jesus did everything but you need to embrace and identify with this truth. Walk it out! Be hungry and if you are not hungry but want to be then ask God to make you hungry for Him. You are so blessed. Don’t wait until you died in order to experience heaven but let it be on earth as it is in heaven. Once again your so blessed so walk in this truth my bruh and sis! God Bless You!
Side Note: You’re already in the Kingdom of Heaven!!!!! Praise God!!!
Monday Morning Coffee question? What wrong identity have you being believing and what truth do you need to embrace in order identity with what God says about you?
So, remember to take it one day at a time, stay encouraged in the Lord, and remember that God loves you soooooo much, so remember to love him back!
